Guarantee Structure: Tanzania Breweries Limited Share Offering

Altree Custody ("ACS") has worked with Tanzanian market infrastructures and counterparties to arrange a secure, simple and cost effective USD-guarantee structure to enable our clients to allocate to the upcoming Tanzania Breweries Limited ("TBL") share offering which closes November 25, 2011. ACS's solution provides a secure structure in which to participate in the TBL offering by placing a USD guarantee into the market and then waiting until final allocation before exchanging only sufficient enough USD funds into TZS for the final allocation. Given the expectation of over-subscription of this offering, plus inherently high costs for foreign exchange, this process will thereby minimize potential FX exposure and costs associated with subscribing in this pre-funded market.
